Family Symphony Session: The Music of Nature

Family Symphony Session: The Music of Nature

Thursday, September 26, 2024 @ 6:30PM — 7:30PMThu, Sep 26, 2024 @ 6:30PM — 7:30PM

Broome County Forum Theatre

Ludwig van Beethoven said, "No one can love the countryside as much as I do." Come hear a free, family-friendly chat about Beethoven's music and his love of nature. Learn a traditional Austrian dance and listen as the orchestra prepares for rehearsal!

Family Symphony Sessions are free music educational programs for all children up to age 17 and their families. Listen to an interactive, family-friendly talk about the music, learn a historical song and dance, and hear the musicians of the Philharmonic as they warm up for rehearsal. First-time adult concertgoers will receive free ticket vouchers for the upcoming performance (kids always attend the Philharmonic for free)!

Register here for this and other Family Symphony Sessions.

Sponsored by the Avangrid Foundation.
