More Ways to Give

Your Support, Our Future

The music you hear on stage is only possible because of the vibrant community behind the scenes. Every gift to the Binghamton Philharmonic helps us build on our recent progress and ensures a bright future for thousands of music lovers across the region. Whether you choose to give today or plan a gift for the future, your contribution directly sustains the artistry and educational programming that defines our city.

Sustaining the Music

For many of our supporters, consistency is the greatest gift. Becoming a Monthly Sustainer provides the Philharmonic with a reliable foundation, allowing us to plan ambitious seasons with confidence. If you prefer the flexibility of modern currency, we are also proud to accept Cryptocurrency donations through The Giving Block, offering a tech-forward way to invest in the arts.

Maximizing Your Impact

Your generosity can often go further than you realize. Many employers offer Matching Gift programs that can effectively double your donation—we encourage you to ask your HR department if your gift is eligible for a match. Additionally, for those looking to optimize their tax benefits, gifting Appreciated Securities or stocks held for more than a year can provide significant advantages, allowing you to avoid capital gains taxes while supporting the orchestra.

Honor the Artistry

One of our most personal ways to give is through the Annual Named Chair Campaign. By sponsoring a specific musician’s chair, you create a direct connection between your support and the performance.

  • Section Player: $3,000
  • Principal or Assistant Principal: $5,000
  • Music Director: $20,000

Beyond individual giving, local businesses can reach a wider audience and demonstrate their civic leadership by Sponsoring a Concert or advertising in our program books. These partnerships are vital to our visibility and growth.

Strategic and Legacy Giving

For those looking to integrate their philanthropy into their long-term financial planning, we offer several paths to accelerate your giving. From Donor Advised Funds (DAFs) and Qualified Charitable Distributions to designating the Philharmonic as a beneficiary in your estate, these options ensure that your passion for music becomes a lasting legacy.

If you are considering including the Philharmonic in your estate plans, we invite you to learn more about the Fanfare for the Future and our Planned Giving opportunities.
