Auditions / Positions

The Binghamton Philharmonic currently has no scheduled auditions

 

Applying to Audition: 

  • Send an email to lmcclelland@binghamtonphilharmonic.org with your intended position in the subject line, and your resume attached to the email. 
  • Place a $45 refundable audition deposit via Paypal or send a check. 
    • Please use the checkout link below to submit your deposit no later than the application deadline.  Your deposit will be refunded 1) if your application is not accepted or 2) your application is accepted and you appear for your audition. The deposit will not be refunded if 1) you fail to appear for your audition or 2) if you cancel within 48 hours of the audition.
    • If you prefer not to use PayPal, you may mail a check to the following address:

    • Checks should be made out to "Binghamton Philharmonic Orchestra" and must be postmarked no later than the application deadline.  The audition check will only be cashed if you  cancel an audition within 48 hours of the preliminary round, or fail to arrive for your audition.

The Binghamton Philharmonic is a paid per-service orchestra. Principal pay for the 25-26 season is $151.46/service, plus eligible mileage. Assistant Principal pay for the 25-26 season is $133.25/service, plus eligible mileage. Section pay for the 25-26 season is $121.14/service, plus eligible mileage.  Click HERE to view mileage and housing specifics.

A notice of vacancy is NOT an audition announcement. Deposits made for auditions that have not been announced will be refunded, minus a 15% processing fee ($6.75).
