ACHIEVE, in partnership with the Binghamton Philharmonic, is launching its first joint Music Instrument Drive this Spring!
From March through May, you can help us provide disabled adults in the Southern Tier and surrounding areas with your gently used musical instruments. Research shows that music therapy is an effective educational and therapeutic tool for everyone, including those with developmental disabilities.
This drive is in accordance with ACHIEVE's mission of advocacy for enhanced quality of life through skill advancement, inclusion, integration, and independence of persons with intellectual, developmental, and other disabilities through services provided in Broome, Chenango, and Tioga Counties; as well as the Binghamton Philharmonic's mission of building community through the power of live music.
